About Mccain Appetizers Europe: McCain is a leading player in the food industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality products to consumers around the world. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Production Scheduler to take our production planning to the next level.
Job Summary: In this position, you will be responsible for managing production scheduling to ensure service levels and production efficiency. You will coordinate and discuss production planning with various departments in Production, Finance, Purchasing, Demand Planning and Customer Service. You will play a key role in meeting financial targets and growth plan.
Your tasks.
- Preparation of production plans and production schedules;
- Addresses scheduling conflicts, production bottlenecks and other operational challenges by analyzing data and making data-driven decisions;
- Monitor and respond to contingencies such as equipment failures, supply chain disruptions or changes in customer orders by adjusting production schedules in real time;
- Use production planning software (or in-house system) and tools to create detailed schedules that take into account factors such as production rates, labor force and production line efficiency;
- Checking current production against plan;
- Control finished and blocked product inventory and ensure product availability;
- Close cooperation with other departments in terms of information exchange, preparation of promotions, sales forecasts, availability of products and raw materials, etc. (Long-term planning, Demand Planning, Customer service);
- Close collaboration with production team to improve efficiency of plans.
