We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Packaging Manager to join our team in ensuring the safety, quality and efficiency of our packing operations.
Job Summary: As the Packing Coordinator, you will report directly to the Production Manager and be responsible for coordinating, improving and maintaining the packing line. You ensure that all activities meet McCain and industry food safety and quality standards. Key aspects of the role include leading, coaching and motivating employees, as well as collaborating in a team.
Responsibilities:
- Taking responsibility for the safety of employees in the packing area
- Lead on food safety and quality in the packing area
- Ensure the packaging area remains audit-ready and meets all audit requirements
- Coordinate employees on the packing line and ClickLok line
- Provide training to improve employees’ professional knowledge
- Act as a role model for employees and coach, mentor and motivate them
- Supervise the proper execution of packing operations
- Collaborate with R&D and Tech Ops to develop packaging materials
