Maintenance Planner & Schedular.

Rilland, regular visit to Kruiningen – full-time

About us:At McCain Appetizers Europe B.V., we strive not only to produce the best vegetarian snacks, but also to ensure a safe and reliable production environment. We are looking for a driven Maintenance Planner & Scheduler to join our teams in Rilland and Kruiningen.

Your role: As Maintenance Planner & Scheduler, you will lead the maintenance planning and scheduling activities for our locations in Kruiningen and Rilland. You will report directly to the MAE Maintenance Manager and work mainly from Rilland. Your mission is to ensure the reliability of our assets, maximise the uptime of our production equipment and extend the life of our assets through preventive and predictive maintenance.

What will you do?

1. Safety and quality:

Promote a safe working environment and compliance with McCain’s safety policies.
Support systems such as LOTOTO (Lock Out, Tag Out, Try Out) and other safe working practices.
Ensure compliance with food safety programmes such as GMP and HACCP.

2. Planning and coordination of preventive maintenance:

Implement 5S principles and maintain them in the workshops.
Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual maintenance activities.
Actively participate in maintenance actions and use CMMS to create a systematic approach.
Create work orders, schedule interventions and comply with food safety requirements such as calibrations.

3. Communication with stakeholders:

Participate in global maintenance activities and implement programmes.
Maintain active communication with suppliers and operational departments.
Group and communicate maintenance data and performance.

4. Supervise and train colleagues:

Work with McCain procurement department to negotiate contracts.
Identify defects and refer them for further analysis.
Develop maintenance initiatives and monitor implementation.
Train new colleagues in maintenance methods and build a culture of maintenance excellence.

Who are we looking for?

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering design or similar. Experience in the food industry is an advantage.

Leadership skills:

Strong collaboration skills with suppliers and plant relationships.
Ability to communicate effectively at different levels within the company.
Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Business acumen:

Able to evaluate and motivate alternative maintenance approaches.
Knowledge of MS Office, ERP systems and other planning tools.

Experience:

Relevant experience in manufacturing, preferably in the food industry.
Experience in continuous improvement programmes and a proven track record in safety and maintenance.
