What will you do as an Technical Account Manager Appetizer?

Appetizers are in expansion in the McCain activities in all the product range Food Service, Retail, QSR and Private label.

Within Customer Quality department, as the Technical Account Manager Appetizers you will develop, define and implement strategies and processes that will support the achievement of customer focus and satisfaction, ensuring product quality and service quality for its dedicated business organization pillar.

Your tasks:

• Customer Relationship:
  • Accountable for the Technical Information to the Customer and Business Partners (such as Product Specifications, Questionnaires and related documents) in a timely and effective manner,
  • Is the first Quality contact with Customer Quality organization.
  • Update the Crisis management contact with Customer Quality department,
  • Support the Business Partners in Technical Discussion with the customers.
  • Participate to the Customer plant Visit.

• Product Follow up
  • Support the New Product launch with the handover process with R and D.
  • Responsible to drive Product Quality Improvement where necessary directly with local Manufacturing teams and Business units.
  • Manage specific product or service quality issues with respective process owners.
  • Review quality issues with ISC teams to take decision & escalate when necessary to ensure the Product Quality in the market meets the Customer’s expectations.
  • Coordinate Product review Activities with Business Partners.
  • Participate with Regulatory team to the Legal evolution.
  • Follow the impact of Product dispensation if needed.

• Quality Complaints
  • Follow the evolution of complaints with Business team.
  • With the support of the Quality complaint Coordinator, Plant Quality team, follows the Complaint management, action plans, Customer answers when necessary.
• Product Specification
  • Responsible for the timely definition of product specifications following defined processes.
  • Make specifications changes in a timely manner throughout PLM based on defined process flow.
  • Accountable for reviewing Product Specification and Service Agreement compliance and reporting to Key stakeholders.
  • Completed and Validate the LCRF (packaging product information)

Your Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s degree in food science or a related field preferred
• Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience working within food manufacturing organization
• Knowledge: Expertise in Quality or Process Management will be an asset.
• Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Active listener with a curious mindset, ready to go to factories as well as to customers
  • Autonomous and confident in making insightful decisions.
• Languages:
  • Dutch and English (mandatory).
  • French (preferred).
• Additional Experience: Prior work with R&D, Marketing, Quality, or Manufacturing teams is a plus.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel between Rilland and Kruinigen.
